There Comes a Time

Within the deepest LIGHT of my soul
a moment awaits for me,
will it be eyes wide open or deathly shut
when my life will change before those and me.

One day my heart and breath will stop.

Our FATHER LORD GOD and SAVIOR
knows all wondrous things I’ll see.

I know when I face the LAMB
I have the confidence
for HIS TRUTH has set all of creation free.

Still my soul it screams with remorse TODAY
for I know how I shall appear
in front of all witnessing me,
not as anything shining bright with flight;
rather unworthy servant shall I appear to THEE.
