What’s This

What's This

Do you now have this new disease?
Soaking things in alcohol with fear of this belief?

I wonder what the cunning swords are talking about you see.
Whose names are being collected on their hand-written sheets?

Why are they checking off these names I do now ponder thee.
To see which souls they've collectedly gained from this new disease?

I wonder what happens to you when you're judged with this disease.
I wonder what will happen to these souls if you know tell me please.

For swords who know of this new disease however can it be TRUE?
These cunning swords are being able to uncaringly survive it through!
Orchestrating their planned out fears to push this disease on you.
These cunning swords have the HOPE of controlling me and you!

Time has come for another new disease to conveniently now appear!
Do more cleansing they will say for this disease you too should fear!
Seems to me this same song and dance that happens every year!
Ancient tricks just rearranged sold as a disease to control your fear!

There goes the names again another hand-written sheet another year!
Look at all the cunning swords controlling the volume of your fear!
Look at all the cunning swords escape again their pseudo tricks of fear!
Pretending all shall live miraculously another pseudo make believe year!

“Heather Teague Sees Beautiful Things” by Bob Rich

"Heather Teague Sees Beautiful Things" by Bob Rich for Heather and her mother Sarah Nell Teague, 9/7/10

Miss Heather looks for peace of mind and seeks out harmony

She finds it in God's shining art -- the sky's bright canopy

The brilliance of the sun by day, the moon's nocturnal glow

The clouds' soft misty light which looks like slowly bursting snow.

She also finds enjoyment in the sparkling melodies

Of songs made by her favorite bands which lift her soul with ease

The song "Round Here" by Counting Crows finds beauty during strife

And "Lightning Crashes," sung by Live, describes cycles of life

And "Night Moves" by Bob Seger wistfully recounts the night

When lightning adds some drama as teenagers see the light.

Miss Heather's caring eyes perceive when people are in need

They often take from her, but still: compassion is her creed.

She first got lost in '95, we're searching all the while

Until that day when she returns with music and her smile.
