Liars Among Us

...and FATHER...

I overheard a voice TODAY.
It spoke of the pain and the waste.
I saw the blackened eyes
upon her swollen beaten face.

I did not know this child.
I only wished to see her smile.
My soul reacted with such an embrace.
My tears began their own falling race.

With my heart heavy I knelt down in prayer.
I know your eyes LORD I see them everywhere.
For this frightened child I did for her then pray.
But LORD I wanted to reach my hand to her and say:

"Somebody lied to you.
Someone didn't tell you the TRUTH.
PURE LOVE does not include
selfishness and any kind of abuse."

"Somebody broke your heart.
Somebody tore your heart and trust apart.
Believe me this was all done in the LORDS PLAIN VIEW.
Someone sold you lies disguised as TRUTH.
Though now a HEAVENLY DAY shall await for you."

Somebody lies among all of you.
