If

If

If I had wings I would not fly,
you can't touch a life not in the sky;
or help a heart that's broken
unbury pain from deep inside.

So LORD I say to you
I'll walk this EARTHLY life;
'til the wingless soar beyond the birds
footsteps shall be my flight.
