Sleepy Time

Sleepy Time

Now I lay me down to weep.
Alone in the dark
I now must sleep.

As I cry upon awake
all our souls please don't forsake.

Now I lay me down to grieve.
Drunk and drugged still no relief.

If I die before I wake;
will it be any different
from when I'm awake?

Now I lay me down to mourn.
Time became the enemy scorned.

When my flesh falls
and turns ashen grey;
my enemies will rejoice on my deathly day.

Them Bones/MATTHEW 6:33-34

Them Bones

Skeletons in the closet.
Proof of deaths deposit.
Bust apart this cellar small death!
Do it now!
For how will we then do it
when we have lost all of our breath?

Whitened bones showing marks that evil sewn.
We all have one or more.
Abide not thee unto thy boney grasp.
Dance not with the thumping of these tones.

Working through confusion
bone puppets jump out from their hiding fold.
Resist the notes of their cunning dirge.
Keep the LOVE of WISDOM safe
far beyond any lust for evil or gold.

Through CHRIST all will avert their fall.
Even from millenniums fallen past.
Seek ye now thy Kingdom come.
Discover ye our lives ever last.
